Imagination & Literacy Instructor
Bridget Newmiller is a graduate of Temple University with a B.S. in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. She is currently a preschool teacher at Royersford Baptist Church Nursery School. Dramatic play is an extremely important part of a child’s learning experience. It is a form of play that is empowering, encourages language development, teaches conflict resolution, develops self-regulation skills, and is known to relieve emotional tension. She is excited to share her love of this type of learning with friends who sign up for Imagination & Literacy class of the Stage Stormers program. Not only is Bridget a lifelong patron of Theater Arts, but her daughter is a former student of Stage Stormers. Bridget may not have seen the view from the stage since her teenage years; but, as a mother, she has spent many hours backstage of several local theater programs for over a decade! But that wonderful journey began in the loving hands of Susan Wilkinson-Wood and her fantastic Stage Stormers program!
